When you begin your day with the desire to give it to Me, begin by giving what is a permanent intention, the intention of the day, of the moment. Giving to everyone you meet, to everything that will be, to everything that is to come. And ask for the ardor of desire, for the fire of love, for tears of love, for the birth of Love. Ask for everyone and for everything that is dear to your heart.

Every prayer of yours should be My prayer in the Garden of Olives, so that your calling may be fulfilled. 

Deny yourself many things that are more of a pleasure than a benefit. Choose what is more difficult out of love for Me; but what is useful for the souls of your neighbors. 

Do not abuse yourself and do not cause yourself pain on purpose. But accept with trust every suffering that affects you from people, situations, or your body. Internal sufferings too.

Leave everything to My will and desire that it be fulfilled. Live the richness of My words from the Cross. A great catechesis is contained in them, and the essence of My Testament.

Examination of conscience :

Do not stop at external facts. Look at what your desire looked like. Was it like Mine? Did it move your heart and did you breathe it all day? In what moments, situations did you forget. When was it harder, the most difficult for you? What destroyed your desire?

Notice what was the most dangerous. Give it to Me. Ask My Mother, the saints, the angels for help. And repent, and ask me to make amends, to complete your sacrifice of the day, hour, moment. There

should be no empty time. There should be no filling up of time with just anything. There should be no preoccupation with yourself, with others, which does not enrich the soul. There should be no idle conversations and thoughts. There should be no succumbing to the whims of the body, mind, heart.

All this quenches the desire that is your life. It quenches your life. And it quenches the lives of those for whom you live.
