Humility also means recognizing your own state of misery and the misery of every person, and constant thanksgiving for every gift that raises you to the dignity of My child, My witness and apostle before your brothers and sisters in sin and in their call to holiness. For every person is sinful, and at the same time, each is called to holiness. Therefore, I give you various gifts, so that you may be mutually useful to each other in opposing the sin that resides in each of you and in striving for Heaven.

The greater My gifts, the more they oblige you to repent, be humble, and give thanks.

Let your joy in the graces you receive be greater in your heart than the sadness of your sinfulness, because My Love is greater than your sin. Rejoice in the graces others receive; give thanks for them to protect your heart from the seeds of envy that breed bitterness. See and rejoice in all that is Mine in every human heart.

Before every action of your hands, mind, or heart, turn to Me so that I may breathe My Spirit into it, so that it may be filled with God's life, and so that it may serve to expand the Kingdom of God everywhere you are and wherever your thoughts reach.

Pure love is love freed from self-love. The entire tragedy of humanity and every person is the fruit of self-love. You love yourselves with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strength, and this blinds you to the point of harming yourselves. You do the greatest harm to yourselves and, as a result, to others. You want to do everything in your own name and for your own sake. You are slaves to yourselves—this is what Saint Paul calls your carnality. And he is not referring to the body, but to the enslavement of the spirit, which is therefore so blind, so deaf, that it does not see the Truth and does not accept Good. It lies to itself and accepts Evil. The source of your emotions is self-love, and they are the chains with which Satan binds you. In My Mercy, I continually reveal the same truth to you, for the Truth is one.  I show it to you and teach it to you in many ways with infinite patience and love, because you constantly surrender to the same blindness of self-love that kills you and for which you kill others.

Pray for the ability to see and live in Truth, for liberation from yourself, so that you may accept My Law of Love and live according to the first commandment, for from it flow all other and all good things.

Pray for this for others and do not spare the effort and sacrifice to help them free themselves from the blindness of self-absorption. It is like a distorted mirror that distorts everything good and beautiful I have done in humanity and in the world.

Pray for this, beg for it, and desire it constantly, for only I can free you if you allow it. You will do nothing on your own, and I will do nothing if you do not consent.  And I will do it all the more and all the more quickly, the more fervent your cries and your desire for Me, for I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. In Me is your deliverance and the deliverance of those for whom you intercede.

Your refuge is My Heart, and your protection is the arms of the Mother. I want you to seek no power or defense within yourself. Your God is your only refuge, and in Him is your place: peaceful, safe, and good. Your soul belongs to God, and if someone else has access to it, it means that something remains that you have not given up, through which he enters to destroy you, or that you do not constantly give up with the simplicity and trust of a child.

This internal struggle is the cost that man pays for his independence, for separating himself from Me, even though I came into the world and am with people to restore their unity with God. I, as a Man, learned obedience through what I suffered. This will not pass you by either, nor any of those who desire to be sons.

It is not important what you feel, but whether My will is being fulfilled. Satan not only inspires thoughts to do evil, but—and this is far more dangerous—he urges and inspires ideas to do things that are essentially good, but to such an extent and in such a way that they breed evil and destroy what could have been for the glory of God. Love is measured by the capacity for sacrifice.

† Disobedience.

† In every situation and moment, desire to fulfill My will. Suffering that can save is a grace, and we must rejoice in it.

The main difference between people is that, although all are sinners, some find satisfaction in falling, and others in suffering. The former are heading towards hell, the latter towards heaven. Thus, falls can lead to holiness.

 Everyone lives in the world as much time as is necessary for the sanctification of their soul. There is no comparison among people. Everyone has their own proper time, their own proper conditions for sanctification. Therefore, one must discern their own path to God and trustingly submit to My guidance. The vocation of everyone is to support others on their path to salvation: to bear witness to My goodness and love. Do not think that one can achieve holiness by thinking about oneself and by taking care of oneself. One must think about God and desire Him with humility of heart. And care for others, lest they die in their sins.

 One sigh from a pure heart is more significant than many inward-looking prayers.

 The degree of a person's hardness determines how many and what kind of prayers and sacrifices are needed for their intention to receive the grace of repentance and conversion. Great hardness can be overcome by great sacrifices. Therefore, time is granted so that, thanks to the persistent sacrifices of My children, as many souls as possible may be saved. And therefore, abundant graces are poured out to open the eyes and hearts of those who are blind and remain in darkness, and to strengthen those who are My light on earth.

Mortal sin kills Me in the sanctuary of the soul of the sinner. If he persists in sin, I am dead in his soul and his soul is dead. This is the same state as after My death on the Cross, for by crucifying Me within himself, he crucifies his soul. But as long as he remains in the world, he has the possibility of resurrection of his soul through reconciliation with Me. When he desires Me, then I will resurrect in his soul and save him for eternal life. Salvation can also come from someone's prayer or sacrifice, because it will give him time to think about Me and desire Me before he is taken from here.
