+No good deed goes to waste, though appearances sometimes seem to suggest so.  Man does not need to know My action - he must trust Me if he is My follower.

 What do you suppose to call prayer?  Only verbal declarations?

 Every good deed with a definite intention in the heart is more a prayer than torrents of words expressing a request.

 Prayer for someone's intention is a thought, a desire for good for that person.

 If you can add some good of your own to this desire, which you share - the power of such a prayer is even greater.

 I give you various goods precisely so that you can pass them on to others, to strengthen them on their way to Me.

 Prayer and action should be inseparable - then they are fully effective.

 An act without intention is a waste of energy.

 Verbal prayer without action is fiction.  Both, if not combined, can do more harm than good.

 The greatest evil is pride: when you start to think that you have any merit, when you expect gratitude and recognition.

 I have told you that it is good for the left hand not to know, what the right hand is doing .

 So do not attach yourself in your heart to thinking about yourself, do not make any self-evaluation, do not revel in your own goodness.  Whatever good you do is not your deed nor your merit.

 It is your business only to consent to My working in you and through you for others.

 Only this is up to you - that is, putting yourself at Me's disposal and carrying out My commands.  Of course, your intention to sacrifice yourself is important and I take it into account.  But you must not force it on Me.  I can accept your intention if I recognize its value.  I do it only to the extent that I deem necessary.

 Therefore, you should not lock any of your sacrifices within the bounds of a specific intention.  You put the sacrifice at My disposal, and the intention is only a request.

 It is wiser and better to leave everything to My Wisdom and My Love and trust that what I do will also be the best for the person for whom you intercede.

+Do as I have said, and you will be of use as I desire.  This is your role and your vocation in the path I have placed you on.  Do it out of love and for love.

 - Who am I supposed to be?

+Christ.  You are to be Me - a pure and perfect sacrifice from which My vineyard will draw its juices.

 - What is the value of my miserable life?

+Infinite, because your soul is immortal, because I live in it.

 The sacrifice of human life combined with My Sacrifice is of infinite value.  Through it you participate fully in the life of God.  And you will always participate in glory too.

 Through it, together with Me, you save and create.

 Do not be afraid of the greatness of what I have said.  Every man is called to this, according to the graces he has received and his openness to My action.

 Do not be afraid of the greatness of your vocation and responsibility.  From moment to moment, accept everything and give it to Me, so that what I created you for may be fulfilled.

 Come to Me with everything.  With the little things of the day too.  I like this homely intimacy.  I don't want to be an official figure in your life who is worshiped and fearfully apologizes.  I want to be a householder who shares in everything.  And I want great intimacy - without fear, with childlike trust, whatever happens.
