– During adoration in church, when I was lamenting the abandonment and poverty of the Lord in the tabernacle, I received the words:

"I suffer much greater abandonment and humiliation in souls subject to the law of sin, which is the law of the devil. There I am immersed in the impurities and rottenness of sin and I breathe the stench of the soul's decay. There I suffer more than during My earthly Passion, and My holy Face is covered with the mud and excrement of a corrupted human soul.

However, I suffer most in souls subject to sin, who have vowed love to Me, and to whom I have opened My Heart to dwell within it, consecrated for eternity. The venom of their sin burns My Heart from within and most deeply offends My holiness. This suffering of Mine, which I experience in them during their earthly life, will become their suffering when they depart this world, when they will know what they have done with My holiness within themselves. That is why prayer and  sacrifices to wipe My Face in human souls and to cool My Heart consumed by pain. To save those who, by inflicting suffering on their God, prepare it for themselves."

During Stations of the Cross

CROSS. If you encounter a cross on your life's path, you must take it up and bear it with love and peace, offering Me your hardships and suffering. The cross offered to Me in this way is anointed with My blessing, and within it lies great good for you and your brethen. If you reject it, the cross will not pass you by, for it is inscribed in your life on earth. A heavier cross will then weigh you down, for it is not anointed by Me.

The heaviest cross is the one despised and rejected. And you will not avoid this, even if you exhaust all your human potential. After all, you live on earth where people have erected a cross and hung God upon it. The cross will be your lot, but consider that it can be a blessed or a despised cross. And do not be so proud as to seek out crosses for yourself, thinking that this will lead you to holiness or that you will help others. Only the humble and joyful acceptance of My will leads to holiness, because it contains the highest good for you and others.
