[The dialogue about the goad is the key to Alice's entire spiritual life. The longing for Jesus and the feeling of loneliness because of it, was a fever that constantly consumed her.]

+The longing for Me that prevents you from finding fulfillment in the world and which compels you to seek.

+When you turned your back on everything the world had to offer, I stood before you.

 - It is still - even greater longing and helplessness.

+This must be till the end. But I'm here to silence it. And I carry you when your powerlessness is too painful.

 Psalm 85:2 

You have been gracious, Lord... You have changed the fate of Jacob...

+I am sending you to another place, which is your proper place. There you will go and there you will mature to meet Me.

- You talked to me this morning. I remember very little.

+No worries. There is a trace of change in your heart after that conversation.

 This is more important than remembering words.

 1 Chron 28:10.20b 

Now take heed, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do it! ... Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, will be with you and will not leave you or leave you until all the work of serving the house of the Lord is done.

+ It is about the sanctuary of your soul, which is My home.

 Build them in your everyday life, constantly entrusting yourself to My care.

 Great things are supported by small things.

 - This approach to You, Jesus, is as if simultaneously in time and space.

+Because it is one dimension... that defines your development from the point of existence to the meeting in My house.

 Space-time is a good term.

 There is unity in everything.  Everything is one and perfect in its simplicity.

 Man sees only fragments separated by time and space.

 The senses of the body make him see that.

 If one is united with Me, he is allowed to perceive directly, with varying degrees of clarity, according to the grace he receives.

 Grace is not a reward, and the afflictions of life are not a punishment.

 Everything is My help in development.

 The size and quality of this help is the resultant of man's desire and what he needs on the way to perfect union with Me.

 Fulfilling My will is the convergence of man's desires and the path I have prepared for him.  Then the chance to achieve full development and union with Me is realised.

 - Is continuous vigil possible?

+This is an ideal to which one must constantly strive, by mobilizing all one's human strength.  My help will be proportional to your effort.  And this effort is a constant cry for My help.

 As you can see, it all comes down to childlike trust and giving Me every moment of life with all that it brings.

 This is the content of the word "watch" and this is the most perfect way of development - complete self-emptying and perfect trust.

 - A shadow of fear appeared in me: what will You demand and will I meet it?

 +Your question shows a lack of trust.  Ask for it and don't stop.  I'll give it to you.

- When will I see Your face?

+After all, you know Me and you know that I am here with you.

 Greater merit if you do not see Me and your heart burns.

 - Is there not my admixture among these words?

+ It should be.  You should feel what I feel, want what I want.  And express what I express.

 Time to talk to Me is sacred time.  Give in to it and don't think about yourself.

 Don't you feel that I hold your heart in my hands, that I animate it and move it?

 Don't resist.  Let it be vulnerable like wax melting under the touch of My fingers.

+I want to take you far into the depths.  Where is the sacred place in your soul.  Where no one has access, because only I am there - too often lonely.

 Transform and mature in this solitude I give you - so that you can be there with Me.

 Live in the spirit of sacrifice and love for people who need help.

+Everyone has their own way, for which I created them.  It is important that you to follow your own path to Me.  This way you will be complete.

 Everyone has such a chance only on their own way - only on the one that I have prepared for them.

 Here, try to concentrate, mobilize and accept everything I give.

 Each of the people is unique.  There is no need to repeat the paths.  Watch yours, while looking at others, you not get lost in the wilderness.

+You must accept your helplessness and fully understand that you cannot do anything without My help.

 - I think I understand that.

+Understanding this should lead you to a constant attitude of entrusting everything to Me.

-Am I not allowed to desire?

+ You are allowed. But you can also sacrifice your desires for others.

 - I'm giving them away.  Now I will have nothing?

+Just the opposite.  You will have everything in Me.  And many gifts.  What you will have from Me, is more perfect than what you can get by yourself.

 You take care of yourself.  You receive My reality from Me.

+Watch out for small things and always try to react as I would in a given situation, ask.

 I am reminding you of this because you yourself feel that something is holding you back.  It's the accumulation of these little things.

 Also, the matter of focusing your attention on Me - try to keep your thoughts captive.  This bondage is love for Me.

 If it is strong and you know how to use it wisely, your thoughts will not wander, they will be connected by Love to Me and inspired by My Love.

 - My patron, Faustina, pray for me.  Ask the Lord to make my actions more decisive.

 • I am at your disposal.  I am glad that you have chosen me as your guardian and that you invite me to pray together.  Each of us wants to help, but people rarely turn to their patrons.

 - Here I am before You [,] My Holy Bridegroom, guide me according to Your plan.  Change what needs to be changed.  Help to discern, help to execute.

+It's good that you said that.  Approach everything that happens to you inside and outside with this attitude.

 And with this attitude, unite with Me, but let the experience of My presence in you not be your goal - only the fulfillment of My will.

+Be with Me and ask how I would behave in a similar situation.  I'll tell you then.  And then you should conform to My will, no matter what it costs you.

 - Is it true that abiding in You is more important than ethical perfection?

+Yes, because abiding in Me leads to perfection.  The reverse, however, is not always the case.

 Your goal is not perfection, but union with Me.

- You called me to prayer earlier...

+You see how I care for you.

 - And yet you are hidden...

-This is also an expression of concern... for your development.

 - Your kindness is intimidating and touching...

+More importantly, it should cause a change of behaviour.

 - Don't you blame me, Jesus, for addressing you so familiarly?

+Just the opposite: I want a lot of familiarity and intimacy, but leading to trusting submission to My will - for your good.

 Pathos often disturbs and separates, because it is an empty form, without content.
